SPBGMA has an annual convention the first weekend of February and seeks to preserve the traditional spirit and art form of bluegrass.
SPBGMA is a wonderful place to get together and meet new friends and old. If you have never been there, you will love it. The entire Sheraton Music City Hotel is Bluegrass for the weekend, floor to floor. As soon as you walk in the front door (Fri-Sat) there is wall to wall jamming throughout the hotel and many hallways with the most jams being late afternoon and evening. You will love mingling with all the vendors that are set up in the two tradeshows as well as greeting the artists who are either at their tables or walking through the hotel, lobby or tradeshow areas.
This show has it all and should satisfy the needs of both fans and jammers. |
